Mixed Review — 20 Random Questions

Random questions from every grammar and vocabulary drill on the site. Mixing topics is the honest test: it shows what you can retrieve on demand, not what you just practised. Pick a level, or challenge yourself with everything.

What is a mixed review?

In language learning, retrieval beats re-reading. But drilling one topic at a time can flatter you — the answer is obvious because you know the topic. A mixed review shuffles everything together, forcing your brain to actually choose the right rule or word each time. Research on spaced and interleaved practice shows this builds knowledge that survives in the real world, which is exactly where you'll need your English.

Score low on some levels? That's useful information. Jump into the matching grammar drill and come back in a few days.
